Sky-Frame Original
Blending artificial and natural space seemed offensive to most western architectural schools for centuries. Understandable, from a perspective of needs and opportunities. Intertwining inside and outside began to appeal to architects in the previous century. With technological and manufacturing progress new materials offered unknown freedom in design and inspired modernist cadres from early twentieth century as well as contemporary protagonists to strive for overcoming trivial building design and freeing spatial experiences. Sky-Frame’s Original window system is an ally of this movement and casually bridges both worlds: Architectures past and future as well as inside and outside. Its concealed tracks and slim frames dissolve the construction to a subtle detail and gives way to a sense of vast openness even in interior situations.
