We at Sky-Frame AG have created this Privacy Statement to describe which personal data we collect when you use our online platform and to explain the purposes for which we process such data. We consider the privacy of our users and the security of the data we collect a high priority.
Personal data that we collect and process in order to provide our online platform
You are free to visit our online platform and browse our products and services without telling us who you are. However, as is the case with all connections to a web server, our web hosting provider’s server records certain technical data and stores them temporarily.
Such data include your IP address and device’s operating system, the date and time of use, and the type of browser you use to access our online platform. These data are needed so that we can make our online platform available to you. Insofar as we process personal data, we do this on the basis of our interest in giving you the best possible user experience and so as to ensure the security and stability of our online platform.
Personal data that we collect and process in order to reply to your enquiries
If you contact us using the contact form or via e-mail, or if you request documentation or CAD drawings using the “For architects” subpage, we will record the information that you transfer to us.
This will include personal data such as your name, e-mail address and, in the case of product orders, your postal address and telephone number. We process these personal data in order to process and reply to your enquiry.
We will also provide you with information on new developments, products and services. You can opt to let us know, at any time, that you do not wish to receive any further information. Unless we hear otherwise from you, we will assume that sending you this information is in both of our interests.
Personal data sent to us by you for processing as part of an application
By submitting your application documents, you are transmitting personal data to us and consent to this information being processed as part of the whole application process.
Within our company, appointments are made to open positions by the employees in our HR department and the head of the respective specialist department. The direct superior of said departmental head may also be present for a second interview. Only these individuals will be granted access to your personal data. None of this data will be forwarded to third parties, nor will it be transmitted to third-party states.
If you have created an applicant profile on a social media platform for business networking such as Xing, LinkedIn, etc., or if you are suggested to us as a contact from your field of business based on your interest, we may, if your applicant profile matches the candidate requirements, process any of your personal data published there to contact you. This is established on the basis of an overriding justified interest arising from your use of such social media platforms. Only those data categories which you yourself have made public there, e.g. contact details or any CVs uploaded, may be used.
Duration of storage of applicant data
Your personal data will only be stored for as long as is necessary to fulfil the purpose, i.e. until we have conducted the application process.
The duration for which your personal data will be stored depends on whether it is a speculative application or an application for an advertised position. If we have to turn down your application your personal data may be retained by us for up to a month after notice of rejection being issued. After that, this data will be deleted automatically and in full, along with the documents transmitted to us by you.
In the event of mutual acceptance we will export your personal data from our applicant management system and import it to our personnel file.
You are entitled to withdraw or amend the application submitted to us via the applicant portal at any time. To do so please send an e-mail to email@example.com stating “Change application data” or “Withdraw application” in the subject line.
In cases where we have not been able to take your application into consideration and have issued you with a rejection, there is the possibility of being added to the talent pool. The talent pool is a database used to store the profiles of applicants who would like to be considered for future positions. Applicants are not automatically added to this database; written consent is required from the applicant. This inevitably involves a longer duration of personal data storage. If you have been added to the talent pool we will save your personal data for three months. You may withdraw your consent, or object to the longer duration of storage of your personal data at any time. To do so please send an e-mail to firstname.lastname@example.org. If you are eligible for another position advertised by us, you will be contacted by us to continue the application process.
